It's always awe-inspiring to see the beauty of a Minecraft creation. Although Minecraft isn’t an action game that involves acquiring some strange shape-shifting weapon and attacking evil fridges but it does provide an extremely limited description of Control. This is a great comparison, especially since we're about to be looking at this Control-inspired Minecraft build.
Reddit user Ominous_Hippopotamus, who is also our favorite handle, posted an image of a hardcore base they've been building inspired by The Oldest House from Control. The Oldest House is an immensely mysterious place, filled with strange trinkets weapons, objects, and beings from other realms. The entire area can best be described as unsettling. Ominous Hippopotamus captured the entire scene in a short video.
Although we only have an incredibly brief glimpse of the base, it feels real. The open atrium with welcoming plant life greets the player to begin with, but upon turning around, the video shows unsettling geometry that juts out and twisting space itself.

It's a fantastic recreation of the area. While it's unlikely that the Hiss will cause havoc, it's a reminder of the amount of care and consideration that is put into all of the Minecraft creations. It's evident that a lot of work and time was spent to make it look authentic. The lighting is especially impressive.
It's the same attention to detail that has players building things like the Ghostbusters theme song out of Redstone or creating an data pack that lets you play with Breath of the Wild abilities. It could be the same kind of love that causes people to transform themselves into Steve too, but we're not sure about that.
